Palm Valley-12 Weekly Drilling Update

The Operator (“Central”) (ASX: CTP) advises that on 16th May 2022, the Palm Valley 12 (PV12) well in OL3, Southwest of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, had reached a depth of 1687m at 0600 hrs ACST in the Lower Stairway Formation
Drilling of the 12 ¼" hole commenced on 10th May. In the past week 584 m of drilling has occurred. Following a successful LOT, drilling continued in the 12-¼" section to the current depth of 1687m MD. It is anticipated that the 12-¼" section TD (planned at ~ 2005m) will be reached on 18th May.

Palm Valley-12 Weekly Drilling Update

The Operator (“Central”) (ASX: CTP) advises that on 9th May 2022, the Palm Valley 12 (PV12) well in OL3, Southwest of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, had reached a depth of 1103m at 0600 hrs ACST. In the past week a total of 283m of drilling has occurred reaching the planned total depth for the 17.5” hole section at 1103m on 5th May. Consequent to reaching total depth, the 13 3/8” casing has been run and cemented, the BOP and surface equipment has been pressure tested and the well is anticipated to commence drilling ahead in 12 ¼” hole from 10th May.

Exploration Drilling Commences at Palm Valley

Exploration drilling is underway at the Palm Valley-12 (PV-12) location in Permit OL3 in the Amadeus Basin (fig 1). Located approximately 120km west of Alice Springs, in the Northern Territory, Australia, PV-12 is expected to take approximately 61 days to reach a total depth around 4144mMD (3980m TVD).
